Privacy Policy

A record of how information is handled.

Last updated

AnchorKey VPN's Privacy Policy describes information used for VPN connectivity and support. The following sections explain those activities, the involvement of service providers and how to raise a privacy concern.

Connection information and controls

The app establishes VPN connections through Android VpnService following your approval of Android's authorization prompt. Network traffic, IP addresses and connection state are processed for connection setup, routing and continued operation. You remain able to disconnect and can revoke VPN authorization in Android settings.

Messages you choose to share

When you seek assistance, details you voluntarily provide are handled to investigate your concern and answer you. Please limit your message to what is relevant and avoid supplying passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Providers and required disclosures

Operating infrastructure or providing support may involve service providers handling information relevant to their work. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet applicable legal obligations or respond to a legally binding request.

Keeping and protecting information

Retention is guided by the purpose for which information is handled, operational and support requirements, and applicable law. Reasonable safeguards are applied to protect information. No system or method of transmission or storage offers an absolute guarantee against unauthorized access, loss or other security incidents.

Privacy requests and policy changes

For questions or requests, use the developer contact details on AnchorKey VPN's app store listing. Applicable law may provide rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to processing. Requests are considered under the relevant legal requirements. The current policy and its revision date are published here. Where required, material changes will be accompanied by additional notice and consent will be obtained before they take effect.
